Lazy days are here again!

The past few days have been very laid back, and kinda nice. I'm now waiting on word from UTD about whether I'm in or not...

So, I was gonna do a post, but apparently my roomies want to do something, so I'll post later.

Another week of AWESOME!

So, many things can be said about my life, but I love the fact that there are at least some weeks that are well worth celebrating. This one, for example.

For starters, my roommate Thomas had a decision that he'd been pondering on for a while. His girlfriend was gonna move out because she couldn't afford the stress or the rent, and move in with her parents. So he had to decide if he wanted to move out with her into her parents place (not exactly that awesome), or continue paying the rent here (rather than the half rent that she is paying (since she is still on the lease after all)) and have the freedom of not living with some one's parents. He finally made the decision this week to stay with us though, which is awesome. It means that my rent will only be increasing slightly from his girl leaving, and not even more because he won't be paying as much. Also, it means that instead of losing two cool roommates, I'll only be losing one.

We went out last Thursday again, and had fun. I was kind of a dick and left Alli alone with a whole bunch of people that she'd just met while I went with the people above 21 to go have a drink real quick at the local bar. All told though, we had a fun time, even with me abandoning my guest like I did. After the hookah bar closed though, we all wanted to do something else, so we were thinking about going and drinking at some one's place. However, we decided that it was to late to really do anything, and made plans to party on Saturday night instead.

So, to make Saturday night brief, we all made fools of ourselves, had fun, and I'm not sure that I'll ever be invited back again, since I think that I might have gotten a bit to inebriated. Official opinion of the night in total is that drunken Rock Band is amazing.

The final kicker to this week isn't really something that happened, more like a choice that I finally made. Two years ago, I dropped out of college, and said to myself that I would take a break to save up funds, live life, and try to cool off a bit from all the stress going on. I also put a timer on the break, and said that I would go back to school in two years. Well, it's two years later, and I've decided to reapply at UTD. I don't know for sure whether I'll be accepted, or even if I can get the grants, loans, and scholarships to pay for it, but at least I've taken that first step, and it feels so fucking good.

Distractedly I come...

So, this is going to be epic. I'm typing this up starting at 1 in the morning, and who knows when it will be done. I'm not really focusing on typing this, so it will be very "stream of thought" style (as though my posts weren't anyways) as I think of something to mention while I surf the web.

So, I think that I might bring back the cast section. But in order to do that, then I have to actually mention other people, so let's get that started.

Not sure if I mentioned it, but I work at Wal-Mart now. In the lawn and garden section. It's a whatever job. It pays the bills, and allows me to start paying back my overdue school loans (that will only take me 20-25 years to pay back if I just do the minimum). So, I don't actually start work until two, but my ride to work is (time for supporting actor number 1!) my roommate Thomas, who works at the Steak N' Shake (yes, the one I used to work at) in the parking lot for Wal-Mart, and he works at eleven (not quite a run-on sentence, but damn close!). So, that means that I got to spend about three hours sitting in a booth at Steak N' Shake doing something. Part of that time was spent reading a book which is not engrossing at all (almost as bad as Lord of the Rings, but not quite), and the rest I used to talk to Thomas and (supporting actress number 1!) Raleigh. She's kind of excited right now, since I think that I will be going to her birthday party bash in February when it happens.

I originally wasn't going to go because of a hobby that I've started recently: playing UFS. It's a fun little card game that's a good way to have fun on a Sunday. Well, a regional tournament is taking place in Louisiana on the first weekend of February, and I originally planned to go to it. However, I think that I really want a computer right now, and rather than put the (my estimate here) $100-$200 expenses that the entire trip would be towards it, I think I'd rather save it to go towards getting myself a nicer computer. But, she's really happy that I'm going to save that money, cause it means that I can go to her party. Woots!

So, recently (to me at least...) Google came out with a new browser, and I must say that I think that I've fallen in love. Google has been coming out with a lot of things recently, and they are all kind of hit-or-miss, but Chrome (the name of the new browser) just seems amazing to me. The redone engine that they put in it, the idea of seperate processes for tabs, the incognito window (which is one of the coolest features ever, even if I won't really use it all that much), and the tab-centric design just make it one of the coolest things that they have come out with.

I think that I'm kind of looking forward to this Thursday. Last Thursday, Raleigh invited (Short Interlude:

So, another thing that got left out in the large gap in my posting history is the fact that I tried to join the army, and was turned away because I had a hernia, so I had to move to Arlington and get a job at a comicbook shop (only cool for a while, and not when you have really shitty management).

End Interlude) me to go out with her and some of her friends to a hookah bar (which, turns out I am a fan of smoking), so we headed out, had a fun time, and I think that we are going to now try to have some sort of weekly Thursday activity. So, this Thursday, we are going again, and I even invited (cast member #3!) Allie to come along with us, since she says she doesn't have enough friends, and she's kind of a cool cat from the toy department where I work.

Abrupt conclusion: I considered programming now, but decided against it, am running a 4th edition DnD game, and am going to be playing in Thomas's new M&M game as a robot (so exciting!)

Cast:
Me: Guy with cold toes sitting on the couch
Thomas: (By the way, I should probably mention that this is a different Thomas than has ever been mentioned here before. The other Thomas shall from now on be know as Debt Thomas) Guy that might be asleep in the other room...
Raleigh: Ex-coworker from Steak N' Shake, now friend and mischief cohort!
Allie: J-pop fan

And you thought last time was bad?

So, last time I was away, it was for a few months. Well, this time I decided to be hardcore and leave for almost two years. I'm not sure if I'll stay, but I am a fan of keeping a journal, even if it's just for myself.

A lot has happened, I don't even know where to begin.

I attempted suicide again? Not recently or anything, it was just a bit after I stopped posting last time actually. I mention it, because I was looking over my posts, and they reminded me of it.

I'm not like that now though. I'm living in a snazzy house in Richardson with four other (soon to be three other) people. No college, just paying back loans and living life. I work at Wal-Mart, and it ain't so bad. I'm not a Christian anymore. But whatever.

Feel caught up? I don't, but oh well. Time to play cards or do something else. You will find out soon enough if I'm serious about coming back or not. Till then, wonder.

Mmm Mmm

So, I've moved. I moved in with my church leader two or three days ago. I woke up at four in the afternoon Wednesday, and had everything moved out of my apartment by six. I consider that very impressive.

I no longer have a closet, nor enough room to put all my stuff, but it's okay. I'll be moving again in a few months, so it's not like it's permanent. But, while I'm here, I'm enjoying it.

Thursday, I went and saw a head shrink again. Or, kind of at least. I was supposed to see him at three fifteen, but it wasn't till three thirty that I saw anyone. But even then, it wasn't the man, it was a condescending nurse. She talked, heard my history, and then finally I saw the shrink. He came in for five minutes while she just repeated back my story to him, then he prescribed me some pills, and sent me off. So, I'm now medicated on anti-depressants, and have another appointment next Friday.

Umm, I would type more, but I'm tired. I'll just end with the fact that I have shaved my legs (I dressed in drag yesterday), and today went to a b-day party of a friend. So, I've had a fun two days recently.
